Manjanggul Lava Tube

Manjanggul (만장굴) is one of the finest lava tube cave systems in the world, stretching 13.4km in total. Only 1km is open to the public, but it contains the world’s largest lava column at 7.6m tall.

What to Expect

The cave maintains a constant 11–21°C year-round — bring a light jacket. The tunnel is up to 23m wide and 30m high in places. Wear sturdy shoes as the floor is uneven. Total walking time: about 45 minutes.
