Gamcheon Culture Village
Busan's "Santorini of Korea". Colorful terraced houses cascade down the hillside, connected by a maze of art-filled alleyways.
Gamcheon Culture Village (๊ฐ์ฒ๋ฌธํ๋ง์) started as a hillside settlement for war refugees in the 1950s and was transformed into a vibrant art village through community projects starting in 2009.
Art & Architecture
Hundreds of murals, sculptures, and art installations are hidden throughout the alleyways. The village map (2,000 KRW, redeemable at shops) guides you through a stamp rally past the best works.
The View
Climb to the top of the village for panoramic views over the blue rooftops and out to sea. The Fish and Prince statue is the most photographed spot.
